Advanced Vehicle Engineers (AVE) of Van Nuys, California was an aviation company founded by ex-Northrop engineer Henry Smolinski in 1968 in order to develop a flying car.[1]
The company's only product, the AVE Mizar was destroyed in a crash in 1973 which also killed Smolinski.[2][3]
